At Delta Arsenal, we believe in giving you the opportunity to train at your own pace with the support of an instructor dedicated to your success. Now, all of our courses are available for semi-private attendance, so you can get the most out of your experience!

What We Offer:

  • Class Duration: Each course is 2.5 to 3 hours of intensive, hands-on training

  • Cost: Starting at $500 for up to 6 participants

  • Flexibility: If you don't pass the class, come back and retake it! You can attend as an additional participant in future classes at no extra cost, Up to 6 additional participants can retake a class they've missed at no extra charge (provided the initial $500 fee is covered).

  • Basic 101 classes will be regularly available on the calendar, and every class in our catalog is eligible for semi-private attendance.

Momma Bear Class

Skill Level: All Levels (Designed for Women and Mothers)
Key Focus: Protection options for families, understanding today’s threats, and implementing effective security measures
Topics Covered:

Ultimate Shooting Experience

Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced (All Welcome)
Key Focus: Comprehensive shooting system that combines foundational handgun training, defensive shooting techniques, and real-world application through experiential training

Course Overview:

  • Handgun Class: Reality-driven foundational class for all levels of shooter, covering defensive shooting physiology, target identification, shooting while communicating, shooting under stress, barricades, reloads, and misfire techniques. All while maintaining safety and accuracy.

  • Experiential Training:

    • Live Fire Virtual Trainer: Engage in interactive virtual shooting scenarios to apply learned skills

    • Simunition Kills House: Force-on-force training with role players to reinforce real-world shooting skills

Group Size: Optimal group size is 8 participants (Up to 12 participants accommodated)
Cost: $350 per individual

Duration: Full day

 

CT Pistol Permit Class 

Skill Level: None CT permit holder  
Course Structure:

  • Online Sessions: 2 online classes (provide foundational information and home drills)

  • In-Person Session: 1 night of hands-on training with live shooting drills

  • Duration: 2.5 hours per session

  • Group Size: Up to 8 participants (individual attention in a small group setting)

Cost: $150 per person

 

Basic Pistol 101

Skill Level: Beginner to All Levels
Key Focus: Foundational skills for shooting accuracy and firing sequence consistency
Gear/Prerequisites: In-service pistol, 2 magazines, and 250 rounds of ammunition

 

Red Dot Pistol 101

Skill Level: Beginner to All Levels
Key Focus: Foundational pistol shooting skills with the addition of red dot optics; zeroing, proper employment, presentation, and accurate usage
Gear/Prerequisites: In-service pistol, red dot optic, 2 magazines, 150 rounds of ammunition
Additional Focus: Understanding the limitations of red dot sights, optimizing hit percentage, and maximizing accuracy at various distances

 

Concealed Carry 101

Skill Level: Beginner to All Levels
Key Focus: How to wear a holster, various carry positions, and mastering basic draw techniques
Gear/Prerequisites: Service pistol, 2 magazines or speed loaders, and 150 rounds of ammunition, recommend Basic pistol or revolver 101

 

Basic Revolver 101

Skill Level: Beginner to All Levels
Key Focus: Proper revolver handling, loading and unloading, foundational skills for shooting accuracy, , and firing sequence consistency
Gear/Prerequisites: In-service revolver, 2 speed strips or speed loaders, and 150 rounds of ammunition

 

Basic Shotgun 101

Skill Level: Beginner to All Levels
Key Focus: Safe operation of a shotgun, sighting in/pattern, loading and unloading, Foundational skills for shooting accuracy and firing sequence consistency.
Gear/Prerequisites: In-service pump or semiautomatic shotgun, sling, 20 slugs, and 50 rounds of lead 00 buck

 

Shooting to Survive 101 - Carbine

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Key Focus: Foundational defensive shooting techniques, engaging from barricades, pieing a room, and mastering room entry footwork
Gear/Prerequisites: In-service carbine, sling, 5 magazines, and 150 rounds of ammunition, and a score of 70+ in Basic Carbine 101

Skill Level: Beginner to All Levels
Key Focus: Sighting in, Battle site zero, Foundational skills for shooting accuracy and firing sequence consistency.  Ready and high ready shooting positions, Loading and reloading.
